Carissa is a warm and empathetic educator who connects to children and families easily. Carissa knew at a pretty early age that she wanted to work with kids. So, she joined the ECE program at Conestoga College, and graduated the year of 2018. Since then, she has taught as a toddler and preschool teacher.
Carissa enjoys learning and growing with the children and coming up with learning experiences based on the children’s interests. When she is not working, Carissa enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling the world, cooking, playing the clarinet and photography (especially city photography).
